Most cars—even hybrids—release tons of CO2 tailpipe emissions every year. The Nissan LEAF® doesn’t use a single drop of gas. And no gas means no tailpipe, no fumes, and zero emissions.
Less Parts. Less Maintenance
Say goodbye to pricey oil changes and tune-ups. With fewer moving parts than any car you’ve ever owned, the Nissan LEAF® is ultra low maintenance.
Incredibly Quiet Driving
Say goodbye to the vibration and engine noise of every other car you’ve ever driven. The advanced 80 kW AC synchronous electric motor provides the quietest, smoothest ride you’ve ever experienced.
Innovation for Five
The Nissan LEAF is all about efficiency, but that doesn’t mean this 4-door, 5-passenger hatchback skimps on interior finish or size. It comes with available folding rear seats made from Bio Suede PET, tons of storage, a USB port, climate control, and more. It’s everything you’d expect in a premium car, even if it weren’t electric.
Nissan Navigation System
The available Nissan Navigation System makes driving your Nissan LEAF an ultra-efficient and confident experience.
NissanConnect℠ EV Information System
With the available NissanConnect℠ EV information system in your vehicle, you can find a nearby public charging station, schedule an off-peak charge for optimal savings, or activate your pre-set climate settings – so your Nissan LEAF is ready when you are. The NissanConnect℠ EV smartphone app lets you remotely start a charging session or activate your heat or A/C, all while providing real-time charging and range status.
You free up an awful lot of room when you take out things like transmissions, oil filters, and radiators. With the 60/40 split rear seats up, you can fit in three child seats, and still have space for your golf bag in back. Fold them flat, and you’ll have a generous 30 cubic feet of versatility—including a handy cargo well that lets you keep valuables out of sight.
Charging stations by the thousands are springing up all over America. They’re usually located in electric-vehicle-only parking stalls. And with select states offering EVs the unlimited use of carpool lanes, getting to one is a cinch.
Usage and Energy Economy
The display screen shows your current battery charge, and tells you how much power your interior climate control and other systems are using. The electric motor meter indicates power use during acceleration or regeneration, as well as during coasting or braking, as energy is converted back into the battery pack. Based on all this information, the Energy Economy page offers efficiency-boosting tips.
Around View® Monitor
Parking is a snap with the available Around View® Monitor.Using four cameras, the system creates a virtual bird’s-eye-view of the Nissan LEAF®, and transmits the image to the LCD monitor, for easier parking.
